        Scriptonomics, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) believes it is very important to protect your private information.         All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

        Yes.         Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users.

        We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

        CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.

How does our site handle do not track signals?

        We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

        It’s also important to note that we do not allow third party behavioral tracking.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

        When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.

        We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13.

Fair Information Practices

        The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

        We do not distribute uploaded film scripts to any outside party. No script or their results be discussed in public or made public under any circumstances. The Company will not publicly distribute to any third party any of the scripts or script information we receive from you, unless you give us your specific permission.

         We recognize that your intellectual property is important, and we do not transmit your scripts to any third parties. However, we strongly encourage you to take all steps to protect your intellectual property, including copyrighting your original work and manuscripts.

Understanding your results

        While our accuracy in predicting the success of a film based on a script is high, we take absolutely no responsibility for the success of, or lack thereof, any script analyzed by our system and its commercial success thereafter. We are not liable or responsible in any way for the theatrical production of, or the theatrical release of, any scripts uploaded to our system.

        The information and results provided by our product, including our predictive analysis and prediction results, do not guarantee the financial or other success of your film or production, and we are not responsible in any way for the results of your film or production.
